21st Century Gods
SUMMANUS;
In the fractured cathedral of a collapsing modern world, Summanus erupts from the chaos like an ancient storm god reborn through circuitry, graffiti, and shattered light. Inspired by the forgotten Roman deity of nocturnal thunder, Radomski transforms mythology into a violent symphony of color and geometry, where sacred symbols collide with urban decay and tangled machine-age dreams. At the center of the maelstrom, a chameleon-like warrior ascends toward the viewer, hammer raised in hand, charging fearlessly through the storm as if leading humanity into an unknown new age. His upward flight feels both triumphant and ominous, a divine messenger tearing through the fractured veil between gods and mortals.
Every line crackles with nervous energy. Every shape feels like a broken transmission from some forgotten celestial network buried beneath the noise of the 21st century. Swirling clouds churn overhead like living machinery while layers of symbols, scars, and electric markings suggest ancient languages clawing their way back into human consciousness. The raised hammer becomes both weapon and beacon, a symbol of power, rebellion, and transformation amid the collapse of the familiar world below.
the 7th piece of the 21st Century Gods series.
Summanus is a bold meditation on evolution, entropy, and the uneasy divinity hidden inside modern chaos. It is both prophecy and hallucination, a psychedelic relic from a future mythology where gods no longer descend quietly from the heavens… they explode upward from the wreckage we create. Through explosive composition and relentless visual rhythm, Emmy Award-winning artist and storyteller Eric Radomski channels decades of shaping some of animation’s most iconic dark worlds into a raw, unapologetic vision of modern mythmaking.
